Time Trial 2023

We returned to the park on Feb 25th for the annual time trial. Conditions were very good, cool and dry. Lack of any significant rain over the previous few weeks meant that the course in general was in good condition. Lots of fast times were recorded, with Gerry Browne (GEN) breaking the course record for three laps, taking off  15 secs off the old record from 2012.  Many thanks to Ruth Lynam for once again organising and overseeing the running of the Time Trial once again, and making sure the start kite was in the correct spot :-)

Many thanks also to Josh for once again organising some great training exercises for the afternoon - we had a multi-technique training map where juniors tested their skills at reading control descriptions, following corridors, using compass bearings, and solving mental puzzles on the move. This was followed by a big 8x8 Maze-O which was enjoyed by all. Results are below.
